I can’t tell you how excited I was to see a circus tent go up at the end of my road last summer; but it wasn’t because the circus was in town again.
Every two to three years they arrive, and with a blink of an eye, red, white and blue appear over the trees. However, it always seems to be windy or raining or just plain yuck outside, and all I can do is take quick photos (which are rubbish because the weather is so awful).
Not in 2016. As you will have probably gathered from previous posts, the weather was glorious, so as soon as I saw the tent, I was in a field sporting my big floppy sun hat, painting. Fab.
The Circus is in Town, soft pastel on board. Finished and available to buy on Etsy.
