The weather here in Scotland is still glorious and for those of you not living here, the sun is A REALLY BIG DEAL – and for soooo long. It is such a treat. People are actually going from pale blue to red to brown. Brown!!!
I have been out almost every day painting, and you will see what I’ve been up to over the next wee while – this sunny spell is due to end in a couple of days (summer officially starts on the 21st June, and we can’t have sun then, now can we?). I’m already crying.
In the mean time, in order to get to some of the views I’ve wanted to work on, I have been traipsing through woodlands, around reservoirs and on one occasion, through a field of buttercups. It took me a while of wandering down a crowded pavement to notice my feet…
I can’t tell you how long it took me to get rid of the yellow.
I’ll post my work as soon as the rain starts.
